Beatlemania set to hit New Zealand

Pricing, availability and date confirmed for The Beatles: Rock Band in New Zealand.

Harmonix Music Systems and MTV Games, along with Electronic Arts, have confirmed The Beatles: Rock Band will hit New Zealand shores on the 9th September 2009 as previously announced, in keeping with the worldwide simultaneous release date.

The Beatles: Rock Band Limited Edition Premium Bundle (including a large scale replica of the Höfner bass controller famously used by Sir Paul McCartney, a Ringo Starr inspired and Ludwig-branded Rock Band 2 drum set, microphone, microphone stand, game software and special game accessories) will be available for PlayStation®3 for $399.99RRP through all leading game retailers.

The Beatles: Rock Band software (which can be used with existing all Rock Band instrument controllers, as well as most Guitar Hero® and other authorised third-party music video game peripherals and microphones) will be made available via all leading game retailers nationwide for PlayStation®3 for $99.99RRP.

The Beatles: Rock Band allows New Zealand fans to pick up the guitar, bass, mic or drums to experience The Beatles' extraordinary catalogue of music through gameplay that takes players on a journey through the legacy and evolution of the band's legendary career.
