Jump behind the wheel of the redesigned Interceptor and use an all-new selection of weapons and gadgets to eliminate Nostra's enemy agents
The first SpyHunter for PS2 still remains as one of the finest modern translations of a classic coin-op ever, so it won't come as a huge surprise to discover that Midway has stuck with a similar formula for its stunning sequel. Don't worry; you may still be pursuing criminals and terrorists in your high-tech, shape-changing G-8155 Interceptor, but this time you'll be at the helm of the latest model of the gleaming white supercar - and that means it's got plenty of new tricks up its exhaust pipe.
Once again, your mission is to uncover and foil criminal organisation Nostra's latest sinister plans for world domination - but this time you'll also have to discover how hero Alec Sects' past is somehow intertwined with a mysterious female agent who's arrived on the scene.
Aiding you in your investigations are Leonie 2.0, the latest version of the Interceptor's online computer designed to provide mission-critical information and tactical advice during missions, as well as a heap of new gadgets, including auto-tracking gun turrets, a prototype cloaking device and an indestructible shield. In addition, the new Interceptor can now transform into a 4-wheel drive off-road vehicle and even a snowmobile - perfect for dealing with the hazardous terrains you'll be encountering in SpyHunter 2's varied array of exotic locations.
