Which devices is the app compatible with?
The app is available to download for iPhone and iPod Touch with OS 4 and above, or Android compatible handsets with a minimum of OS 1.6*.
*Note: the PlayStation Official App is not compatible with the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 mini.
Which countries is the app available in?
Version 1.05 of the app is available in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Ireland, the United Arab Emirates, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Austria, Portugal, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Sweden, Poland, Russia, Australia, New Zealand, Greece, South Africa, the Czech Republic, India and Turkey,
Is the app viewable in both portrait and landscape view?
At present, the app is viewable in portrait view, except for some videos which are displayed in landscape view.
What content is available on the app?
You can view all of the content from PlayStation.Blog, including game trailers, video features and developer interviews, as well as content from eu.playstation.com such as game pages, peripherals, services and news.
Can you view your friends' trophies and trophy level on the app?
Yes, and you can compare your own trophy collection with your friends' too,
Are you planning to create a widget for Android phones?
Yes, a widget will be made available for Android handsets in early 2011.
Can I choose which language I want to access the app with?
Yes, you can change the language of the app in your settings.
How often are you planning to release updated versions of the app?
We are planning to release further updates with new features on a regular basis.
