PlayStation Network Cards FAQ

PS3™

Everything you need to know about using PSN Cards to add funds to your PlayStation Network wallet.

What are PlayStation Network Cards?

PSN Cards are a way of adding funds to your PlayStation Network wallet, allowing you to purchase games and game content from PlayStation Store, PlayStation Home and the SingStore, without the need of a credit card.

Where do I get them?

They are available from most retailers that stock PlayStation games and systems, including:

  • JB HIFI
  • Dick Smith
  • Noel Leeming
  • Bond & Bond
  • Harvey Norman
  • The Good Guys
  • Norman Ross

How much do they cost?

PlayStation Network Cards are available in $30 and $50 denominations.

How do I redeem them?

After purchasing a card, follow these three simple steps:

   1. Sign in to PlayStation Network on your PS3, your PSP or a PC using Media Go
   2. Head to PlayStation Store and select the Redeems Codes icon at the top of the page
   3. Enter the 12-digit code printed on the card and the funds will be added to your wallet instantly

Are there separate cards for PlayStation 3 and PSP?

No, your Sony Entertainment Network account is the same for both PS3 and PSP. Therefore, you're free to spend your points on content for either system, or a combination of the two.

Do the cards have an expiry date?

You must redeem the cards within 12 months of purchase. Once redeemed, funds will remain in your PlayStation Network wallet until spent.
