Get the inside scoop on how to claim some of the trickiest trophies in Starhawk on PlayStation 3.

Want to impress your friends with your incredible feats of skill in the intense sci-fi shooter action of Starhawk? Developer LightBox Interactive has some great pointers to help you get your hands on some of the game's trophies. Lock them into your cross hairs and get blasting.

A hardened campaigner

If you're feeling confident, all of the campaign completion trophies can be acquired in one go - although you'll have to set the difficulty to Mercenary. Think you're tough enough to survive?

Also, skill-based kill trophies such as Hat Trick or Armed and Dangerous are often easier to unlock in the single player campaign. If things get a little tough, team up with a pal in the co-operative mode.

Taking it up close and personal

For trophies that require taking out the passenger of a vehicle, like Mech my Day or Out of the Saddle, try to use something like the Galloway Revolver at close range as it's a bit easier than using a long-range weapon.

Watch the birdie

If you're particularly good at sniping you'll want to aim for the Deadeye trophy. Observation is crucial so watch out for vulnerable moments such as when an enemy is acquiring a Vulture Jetpack, and then strike.

Multiplayer mayhem

If you want the CTF (Capture the Flag) and Zones Veteran trophies, don't forget your objectives. Kills only count in TDM (Team Death Match) or DM (Death Match).

Think small

The Curious Builder trophy is easier to unlock on smaller Build & Battle multiplayer set ups like Lone Wolf or Air Superiority. Also, if you want to easily get certain trophies such as Team Leader or Lone Wolf, play in games with fewer players and a lower score limit. Once you've achieved the top score, a bunker is a good safe spot, so get building.

Boxing clever

Think outside the box by putting your foes inside the box. Apex Warriors are easily stopped by dropping Build & Battle structures on them; which will also unlock the Mancake trophy.

Show no mercy

The Saboteur trophy is easiest to unlock by focusing on weakened or distracted enemy vehicles. Don't feel sorry for them - they're there for the taking. However, beware of enemies using their vehicle to deliver an R-Sec Proximity charge. While this is an effective tactic it can be turned on them with a well-placed shot. This will also net you the Minor Miscalculation trophy.

Ready to put these top trophy tips to use? Then take to the skies in Starhawk now and show the world just how good you are.
