Play god to the Patapon tribe, rule the roads of the future and master gnarly skating tricks in this week's PlayStation Store (PSP) releases.
Feel the beat
The Patapon are at war once again in Patapon 2 and it's up to you, as their hallowed god, to lead them on a military march through strange new lands. Bang your holy drums and give the order to advance, attack and defend, or even perform devastating miracles.
You'll need to keep the beat going through 60 rhythmic stages to discover hidden items and mini-games, then drum along with your friends and tackle multiplayer missions to win a Mysterious Egg. Download the full game now and get set to drum your followers into a marching frenzy.
It's time to drive on the edge in Hi-Octane, the high intensity arcade-style combat racing game. In this battle of metal and might, you can choose from six different cars with different attributes, all of them loaded with shields, mini-guns, and missiles to help you take down your opponents.
To win you'll have to lean into the turns and learn the hazards of a particular track with the Single Race mode, while those in for the long haul will have their skills tested to the max with the Championship mode where you must race and win on all nine tracks. This race will be a bloody duel to the death!
Just when you thought it was safe to deem yourself worthy of the highest skateboarding accolades here comes an all-new selection of pro-worthy boarding runs for you to master (or give yourself a facelift while trying) with Street Skater 2.
So go on, grab your lid, strap on your elbow savers and show 'em who's boss in the new Millennium by turning an abandoned warehouse into your own personal skate park with bowls, pipes, rails and a whole lot more!
