Master the grappling hook and bring your dreams to life in this guide to the LittleBigPlanet 2 demo now on PlayStation Store.

Media Molecule has pulled back the curtain and released a demo on PlayStation Store of its hugely anticipated follow-up to the award-winning PlayStation 3 game, LittleBigPlanet. Check out this guide to exploring brilliant new worlds in the LittleBigPlanet 2 demo.

Pod play
At the outset of the demo you're transported inside your Pod where you meet Sackboy. In the full game this is the place where you'll go to every time you want to choose games, find your PlayStation Network friends and create social gatherings. Your Pod is equipped with a Pod computer shaped like a wireless controller. It's your gateway to the world of LittleBigPlanet and all the brand new adventures that LittleBigPlanet 2 has to offer.

Decorate!
You can customise Sackboy with a variety of kooky costumes, hats and other zany items including a fez, Musketeer hat, beehive hair, shutter shades, fins, a broomstick hand and even a Hula Skirt. You can also decorate your Pod with stickers and lots of other cool items you collect throughout the demo. To transform your Sackboy and add a little something extra to your Pod, simply press the Square button and have fun.

Grapple man
Sackboy has a brand new tool for you to get to grips with in the LittleBigPlanet 2 - the grapple hook. You'll get the chance to use it in the Tower of Whoop found in the Da Vinci's Hideout world. Once you have picked it up at the start of the level, simply hold the R1 button to attach the grapple to objects. It's perfect for swinging across large gaps and for hoisting Sackboy up onto platforms. Got the hang of it yet? Then try a speed run through the Tower of Whoop.

Say cheese!
Doing something so cool you have to share it with everyone? The take a photo of it by pressing the START button and selecting the camera icon to capture the moment. You can then use these photos as stickers to decorate your Pod.

RoboBun
Another new toy you'll get the chance to have fun with is the RoboBun, a robotic toy bunny rabbit that can be used to help you leap around levels, bounce off walls and perform devastating Slam Attacks on enemies. Performing jumps is easy. Simply hold down the X button to leap around the level. For Slam Attacks, jump into the air and hold down the R1 button.

Play with friends
Ever dreamed of launching a boot into the air or hurling a fish at a friend from your head? The Creatinator has it covered! Dress Sackboy up in the Creatinator helmet/backpack combo in the Rocket Funland section of the demo, then rain down rockets against your opponents in this crazy offline only challenge.

Two to four players can go head-to-head in Rocket Funland, so invite your friends over to try out the latest creative addition to the fun-filled world of LittleBigPlanet.
