YouTube, personalised for you
Bring your subscriptions and playlists to your PS Vita when you sign in
If you've got a YouTube account, you can sign in when you load the YouTube app on your PS Vita. Although you don't need one of these to use the app, having one means you can experience more of YouTube's great features. If you don't have an account, you'll need to create one on your PC first.
Once signed in, you'll be able to do the following:
- Add videos to the Favourites (1) tab and keep the clips you love in one place. This will bookmark particular videos in your account so you can return to them easily for repeat viewing. Any videos you add will also be saved to the Favourites on your PC.
- Rate played videos by tapping Like or Dislike (2).
- Leave a comment about videos for other users to see (3).
- Flag videos as inappropriate by using the options menu (4). After you have reported a videoYouTube staff will review it. If the video is found to be in violation of YouTube's Terms of Use, it will be removed from the site.

Like a video, post a comment and read what others are saying
Once you've selected a video to watch, there are several things you can do to ensure you're getting the most from it.
Tap the expand icon (1) to view the video in full screen mode – to go back to small screen mode, simply touch the icon again or pinch the screen to make the video smaller. From full screen mode, you'll be able to see if a video is high resolution and can be viewed in High Definition. If it is, tap the red HD button to view the video in 720p quality.
Next to the video are three tabs. Tap the first one to see suggested videos (2) that are related to the one you're watching. You can also view comments about the video you're watching (3) from other users – you'll have to be signed in with a YouTube account if you want to leave your own comment. Finally, you can check out any information that has been added by the user who uploaded the video in the information tab (4).

YouTube for PlayStation Vita is the perfect way to watch all of your favourite videos. The PS Vita system's stunning 5" OLED touchscreen is ideal for watching the trailers, music videos and clips you love – all you need to do is download the app for free from PlayStation Store.
When you download YouTube for PlayStation Vita, you'll see four tabs at the bottom of the screen.
Recommended (1)
This tab displays the videos recommended from YouTube. They could be gaming tips, clips from TV shows or handy tutorial videos. If you're signed in with a YouTube account, you'll be able to see your subscriptions.
Search (2)
Here you can search for a video by typing in keywords. This tab will also display the last 30 videos that you searched for.
History (3)
Watched something recently and want to check it out again? Tap the History tab and you'll be able to see the last 30 videos you watched.
Favourites (4)
Keep the videos you love in one place with the Favourites tab – you'll need to be signed into your YouTube account to do this. You can add videos to your Favourites by using the options menu (5) while you're watching one of the millions of videos available on YouTube.
